Geograffr.eu is a site dedicated to my works in the field of Geography and Software Development.
I am a Graduate Student with a B.Sc. degree of Geography from the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Currently, I am performing my Master studies at the Universität Bremen and plan to wrap up in 2023.
Formerly, I graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg with a Diploma in Media Technology Engineering ("Dipl-Ing (FH) Medientechnik") and acquired a professional qualification as Media Designer (Audio/Video) from an apprenticeship at the german public broadcast service Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hamburg.

My background in Software Development stems from an about 10 year long professional occupation as engineer at a movie postproduction company where I lead the team developing web-based B2B software and was responsible for the IT infrastructure.

Currently, I utilize my experience to create solutions in the geography realm. I use QGIS as GI system, where I also developed a plugin (Coordinator) for coordinate system calculations. For spatial statistics I work primarily with R.
